A great example of these famous specimens from Magnet Cove. This is a classic example of the iconic "eightling" twinned Rutile specimens. This beautiful thumbnail has sharp, well-defined, fine quality, lustrous striated surfaces and textbook twinning. The excellence of the specimen and the importance of the location make this a very attractive and worthwhile representation of these distinctive Rutiles.
From the collection of the beloved mineral dealer and collector Rock H. Currier (1940-2015) who was the long-time owner of Jewel Tunnel Imports. Collection #1571. Rock travelled the world in search of mineral specimens, and built and impressive collection over his lifetime. He was one of the more colorful and unforgettable figures in the mineral world.
