Rutile & Brookite incl. in Quartz ex Obodda

Rutile included in quartz specimens are very rare compared to the gorgeous and famous brookite and brookite included in quartz pieces from Taftan. Water-clear, glassy, quartz crystals, aesethetically perched on milky quartz matrix host tabular brookite blades with very fine, hair-like, rutile needles of variable length richly growing from them. The striking included quartz crystal at the top is doubly terminated and is 2.7 cm long. The trivial bit of termination bruising is a very modest detraction to this rare and excellent miniature from the Herb Obodda dealer stock.
