Rutile & Brookite incl. in Quartz ex Obodda

Rutile included in quartz specimens are very rare compared to the gorgeous and famous brookite and brookite included in quartz pieces from Taftan. Striking, intergrown, fir tree-shaped clusters of splendent, golden-brown, rutile needles look fabulous within the sharply terminated, partially water-clear stout quartz crystal. A few nearbly golden brookite blades are a fine accent. The rutiles extend to the base of the quartz. Complete all-around, the back of the termination is lightly chipped, but this remains an outstanding and rare combination inclusion specimen from this locale and the Herb Obodda dealer stock. Herb valued this piece at $300, five or more years ago.
