An attractive and fine quality large thumbnail / toenail sized paramorph specimen from this classic locality! A cyclic twinned crystal of Brookite is replaced by black micro crystallized Rutile. This is not a pseudomorph, but rather a paramorph which is essentially a phase change but the differing crystal structures are of the same chemical composition, in this case titanium dioxide.
