Rutiles from Diamantina are some of the most well-known crystallized examples of the species from any world locality. This prismatic crystal has a bright silvery metallic exterior with smooth, well-formed faces. The termination is modified and slightly built-up, but it's not broken as opposed to the base which is clearly contacted. One does not see a lot of these Rutiles on the market these days, and this is a good opportunity to pick up a nice example with an odd termination for your collection.
