Item Description
This remarkable and complete cluster is a floater with no damage to any of crystals, which are the top quality level of luster and shine that you could ever want on a Georgia rutile specimen! The larger crystal is 4 cm, tip to tip, and doubly terminated. This piece is notable for the fine, pristine condition and uniform quality from a location where most specimens simply have flaws or imperfections we put up with. It is a perfect small cabinet specimen, and if seen on a shelf at a show would easily be $2500-plus a premium for the condition and aesthetics. It is likely older material from the 1970-80s. Purchased in Munich from well known German collector Paul Stahl, himself known for his choice collection of miniatures and small cabinet aesthetic specimens.
