Item Description

Starbursts of splendent, golden metallic rutile needles fill a glassy, euhedral smoky quartz section on this showy specimen. One end is broken and rehealed and the other end is partially terminated. The contacted back is mostly out-of-sight. Rutilated smokies of this quality are relatively uncommon from any Brazilian locality. Classic rutilated quartz.
