A significant specimen of cut rutilated quartz, in a trilliant with incredible polish and luster! It is 235 grams in mass - huge! The stone is well cut to emphasize the long, elegant rutile needles within! It has excellent color, and a very high quality polish to it. Stones in this size are uncommon and difficult to value, though worth more than comparably sized quartz of other varietals. Many simply go to the Chinese market, and direct from Brazil, anymore. From an old USA gem collection assembled in the 1980s and 1990s.
