Item Description

A very fine Brazilian rutilated quartz specimen from the Richard Hauck Quartz collection. Brilliant, golden rutile needles to 2.0 cm are nicely scattered in a gem, water-clear, quartz crystal. Some of the needles protrude out of the quartz faces. The complete all-around quartz crystal is dramatic in itself. This excellent specimen is essentially pristine, having only infinitesimal bruising to the termination. Rutilated quartz specimens of this quality are not that common and are highly desirable.
