Item Description
Beautiful, gemmy rubyjack sphalerite crystals, to 1.2 cm, are peppered on three sides of the large chert matrix on this very showy, old-time specimen from a very obscure Oklahoma Tri-State District locale. The piece is dramatically capped with a cluster of sharp to wildly etched galena cubes, that are sprinkled with tiny marcasite crystals. RARE combination material from this mine from an East Coast collection and comes with an obscure New York City dealer label. Jacques Kurtz lived from 1908-1985. A MUST for the locality or species collector. The piece displays well without aid.
