Classic and sculptural large old-time sphalerite and galena from the Joplin Field. One side hosts gemmy to translucent, highly lustrous, stepped-growth sphalerite crystals, to 3.5 cm. A striking, heavily etched 4.0 x 3.7 x 3.7 cm, lustrous battleship-gray galena cube lovingly sprinkled with a few small gemmy rubyjack sphalerites is a dramatic and fine compliment to this excellent old combination classic from an East Coast collection. Comes with a century-old faded and stained label.
