Item Description
Elmwood is only known for producing a handful of species, but the best pieces are among the finest in the world for what they are. This is a wonderful display specimen featuring a large "flower" or "mound" of the well-known "Ruby Jack" on a sculptural plate of silicified limestone matrix. The multiply-terminated, compound, deep reddish-brown crystals are splendent and have spots of gemmy fire. Complete all-around and nearly pristine, the contacting on the back is out-of-sight. A fine sphalerite specimen from this world famous locality. Ex Consie Prince Collection.
