Item Description
Sphalerite is very much an under appreciated species from the famous Elmwood Mine, where golden calcite and purple fluorite reign. This outstanding and aesthetic example features a splendent, complete all-around cluster of twinned, rubyjack sphalerite crystals adorably perched atop a pedestal of lustrous, saddle-shaped dolomite crystals. There are even two, tiny purple fluorites at the base of the dolomite. Complete all-around and very, very nearly pristine, with only super-trival edge wear at a couple of spots on the sphalerite. Every turn presents a new perspective to this fine display piece. The sphalerite glows when backlit. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!
