A stout textbook, hexagonal, blocky, doubly terminated thumbnail ruby crystal with high lustre and pretty reddish-purple color. The dimple on one corner and striations on the terminations add pizzazz. Ruby specimens from Karnataka are a well-known classic. Complete all-around and in great shape, with only one lightly bruised edge. Excellent, highly representative ruby from India. Cherry-red fluorescence. 38 grams mass.
