Rubies, throughout history, have been some of the most prized and highly valued gems in the world. Without question, the world-class Ruby gems from Mogok, Myanmar are one of the most valuable gems ever found. Rubies have been mined around Mogok for centuries, and the best stones are still the world-standard for the material. This gem is un-heated and un-treated (no glass filling) and has an attractive fiery pinkish-red color, with gem quality transparency. It has a "Round Step" cut. There are some slight inclusions, but the color is strong and saturated when the stone is backlit. These are absolutely some of the most popular Rubies in the world.
