Ruby Spinel macle-twin & octahedral xls (rare combo)

Item Description

A striking and rare thumbnail pair of ruby spinel crystals with different crystal habits from the famous gem tracts at Mogok. Two, intergrown, doubly terminated octahedrons are aesthetically attached to the side of a macle twin! The large octo is 2.1 cm and this is a very nifty and pristine floater crystal cluster. The lustrous and translucent crystals have fine pigeons blood-red color and the etched/skeletal faces add pizzazz. Rare style spinel from Mogok.
