A sharp, complete all-around, 2.5 x 2.5 x 2.5 cm octahedron dominates this rich and fascinating rarity from a NEW FIND at this less well-known large marble massif in Tanzania, known for excellent spinel crystals. Pretty pink, moderately lustrous, translucent to opaque RUBY has pseudomorphed a sculptural and aesthetic small cabinet cluster of intergrown sharp Spinel octahedrons. The second largest pseudo octo is 1.9 cm and is doubly terminated. An aesthetic 360-degree rarity, with only minimal periphery wear on one end. Pinkish-red fluorescence. The locality is known for such pseudomorphs, but they are RARELY available. Value???
