The rubies from Jegdalak are among some of the most well known and superbly crystallized ruby specimens around. This fine miniature features a sharp, gorgeous, pigeons blood-red crystal dramatically perched atop contrasting white marble matrix. The crystal measures 7 x 7 x 6 mm across and it is not at all opaque as the majority of these specimens tend to be, as it readily passes light when backlit. Pristine.
