Classic, translucent and lustrous, pigeons-blood ruby crystals are aesthetically set as dense clusters or as isolated crystals along the crest or on the front of the very sculptural wedge-shaped quartz matrix on this rich and excellent CABINET specimen from recent finds at Luc Yen, Vietnam. The UNRETOUCHED backlit photo highlights the rich color saturation of the rubies. A few scattered muscovite books are a nice accent. Ex Duncan Elliott Collection. Valued at $1250-1500
