Item Description
Ruby crystals are rare from this obscure Nepal district and this is a fine, highly representative example. The nifty intergrown euhedral terminated pair have classic pigeons blood-red color, high luster and moderate translucenct. The craggy indentations on both sides, where other minerals once lay, adds much pizzazz. Beautiful fluorescence. 46.21 carats or over 9 grams mass. Ex Matioli Collection.
