The Rubies from Jagdalek are among some of the most well known and superbly crystallized Ruby specimens around. This specimen features a remarkably sharp, very well formed, semi-lustrous, "pigeon-blood" color crystal with good gemminess on a marble matrix. The Ruby measures 1.2 cm long. The crystal is not at all opaque as the majority of these specimens tend to be, and you can see the color really come through with backlighting. A very fine Ruby specimen from a locality that is not producing nearly as many good pieces as it did 15 years ago. Ex Herb Obodda dealer stock. Valued at $1400
