Item Description
A striking and beautiful, parallel-growth, rubellite from Malkhan, well-known for fine rubellite tourmalines. The sharply terminated, sculptural, very glassy, juicy cranberry crystal is partially gemmy and has an impressive notch. The back and the base are coated with drusy quartz. The base is partially terminated, making this a doubly terminated crystal, with the rest being contacted. The crystal really SPARKLES under bright light and the multiple lustrous termination faces around the notch are a highlight. Complete all-around and pristine. 94 grams. Valued at $1000-1250.
