A striking, classic Rubellite specimen from one of the very first localities in the world to produce red Tourmaline. When there were first discovered, there were no specimens coming from Brazil or Nigeria etc and it was some of the most treasured gem material in all of Europe. This beautiful and VERY well-formed group has excellent luster, sharpness and great ruby/pink color and decent gemminess. The piece is complete all the way around, and has such sharp, smooth faces! The piece is virtually damage free, save one tiny flea-bite that I can see with a loupe. A very worthwhile and eye-catching full thumbnail sized display specimen of this beloved material. Very hard to find in this quality, especially with such great form and luster.
