The stone is a beautiful, nearly eye clean "Round Brilliant" cut gem with an attractive reddish-pink color featuring slight peach-orange highlights / overtones. The color is VERY saturated and attractive. Fine Rubellites can retail for over $500 per carat, and this stone would look beautiful in a pendant, or alone in a gem box. Tourmalines are some of the most diverse and popular gems out there, and a stone with this color is rather desirable. This stone was cut from a piece of rough mined back in the 1990s.
