Here is a fantastic gem from one of the most productive localities for Rubellite Tourmaline in the world! The stone is a beautiful, VVS, intense pink "Oval Brilliant" cut gem. The color is VERY saturated and attractive. Fine Rubellites can retail for over $500 per carat, and this stone would look beautiful in a pendant, or alone in a gem box. Tourmalines are some of the most diverse and popular gems out there, and a stone with this color is rather desirable. This stone was cut from a piece of rough mined back in the 1990s.
