Item Description

A striking, sculptural, saguaro cactus shaped cluster of lustrous, lavender-pink, rubellite prisms is dramatically set on the blocky, sparkly, micro lepidolite matrix. The segmented "cactus" is 5.6 cm tall. Rubellite specimens, such as this, are an old-time classic from the famous Stewart Mine. Excellent, uncomon and very showy material from the 1950s to 1970s. From an East Coast collection.
