Item Description

A beautiful old-time, classic, gemmy and lustrous, transparent to translucent, vivid pink rubellite tourmaline crystal from the famous Tourmaline Queen Mine. Pristine, the pyramidal termination has frosted faces. A handwritten label attached to the bottom of the Perky Box has a January, 1972 date, the same month as the discovery of the renowned "Blue Cap" pocket, one of the most famous tourmaline finds of all time. 18.65 carats or 3.7 grams mass.
