Rubellite Tourmaline

From a discovery at the world famous Cruzeiro Mine a couple years ago, here we have a beautiful single crystal of VIBRANT gemmy pink and red Rubellite Tourmaline with sharp, glassy faces and good saturation. The hue of the pink end of the Tourmaline has a bit more of a lavender-pink hue in sunlight, but the red termination is really strong in any light. The crystal is in VERY good shape shape, and would make a nice addition to any Tourmaline suite, a gem crystal collection, or a thumbnail collection. Classic material and great quality from the standpiont of luster and color. Only slight roughness, but the color and gemminess make up for it.
