Brazil has produced top quality Tourmalines for several decades, including some of the finest gem grade Rubellites ever found. This stone has an "Oval" cut with a rich pinkish-red hue. The stone is virtually eye-clean, which is rare for Tourmaline as the stone is classified as a "Type-3" gemstone, which means that inclusions are almost always present, and accepted by dealers and collectors, so when you find a stone like this, it's a big deal.
