Item Description

Rubellite is the varietal name given to any pink or red Tourmaline, regardless of species. It can be a bit confusing because Tourmaline isn't actually a species, and neither is Rubellite, but still the term persists through the gem world, and is honestly used more than any specific species name. This is a lovely "Narrow Step Oval" cut Rubellite from Brazil with intense fuchsia pink color and only very very slight inclusions. The color is strong, but not too dark, and the stone looks great in any kind of lighting. Priced at $462.00 retail.
