Rubellite in Quartz (large for locale)

Item Description

Striking sprays of gorgeous pink, gem elbaite crystals are festooned on the scuptural large quartz matrix from a recent find from this large pegmatite field. The crystals reach about 4.0 cm on this piece. This is an excellent example from a locale, that has surprisingly produced a limited number of mineral specimens and species (these turned up at the 2013 Munich Show).
