Rubellite in lepidolite specimens of this quality and large size are uncommon from this classic old pegmatite locale. A striking, bold, stepped cluster of intergrown, lustrous, striated, translucent, pink rubellite (elbaite) prisms is beautifully frozen in the sculptural large matrix of scintillating, tiny, lilac lepidolite crystals. Very fine old-time and classic material with a cloth label attached to the back. Choice material from the Art Soregaroli Collection.
