Rubellite and purple Tourmaline (ex Rolando Gioia Collection)

From a discovery at the world famous Cruzeiro Mine a few years ago, here we have a beautiful crystal featuring rich pink Rubellite Tourmaline and uncommon PURPLE Tourmaline at the center with sharp, glassy faces and good saturation. The piece is in great shape shape, and would make a nice addition to any Tourmaline suite, a gem crystal collection, or a thumbnail collection. It's sharp, lustrous, gemmy and looks beautiful up close. Classic material and great quality from the standpiont of luster and color. Only a tiny bit damage that I can see with the naked eye, and there are actually a few small groups of purple Lepidolite on the back of the crystal for a nice touch.
