Item Description

Rosenbuschite is a rare zirconium, titanium silicate found in unusual nepheline syenite pegmatites and this very rare and rich specimen is from the Type Locality in Norway. A large spray of lustrous, acicular, orange-brown crystals covers one side of the mostly feldspar matrix. The needles are up to 2.0 cm long. There are additional pods of the mineral on other sides. Ex Josef Vajdak Collection and comes with a label from a Norwegian geological museum. VERY RARE from the Type Locality.
