Item Description

Beautiful, sparkling, gemmy, reddish-purple blades fill a 4.8 cm vug on sculptural large matrix on this showy and excellent specimen. The piece has not been x-rayed to know for sure which species it is. This locality has produced some of the finest specimens of these respective species, and this attractive piece is certainly a fine example. Wendwilsonite is named for the current Publisher & Editor-in-Chief of the Mineralogical Record, Wendell Wilson.
