Item Description

The historic Schneeberg District is the Type Locality of Roselite, a rare hydrated Ca-Co arsenate. Lustrous spherical aggregates of pretty magenta microcrytals cover all sides of this very rich and colorful old-time miniature. Specimens from here are very uncommon and are seldom on the market. Ex Kay Robertson Collection # 12752. Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record).
