Item Description
The Rose Quartz specimens from Brazil are the finest crystallized examples of this pink variety of Quartz in the world. This piece is an attractive cabinet piece featuring bright pink, lustrous, hexagonal GEMMY to translucent pink crystals of Rose Quartz that are overgrowing a Smoky colored translucent Quartz fragment. Some of the Rose Quartz crystals are incredibly gemmy, bordering on WATER CLEAR in areas, and a few of them show small areas of golden iron-oxide inclusions to create a three-tone coloring in the specimen. I love how the ridge of crystals resembles a row of alligator teeth. Very good condition on the display side, but it's incomplete on the back / base where it detached from the pocket. Classic material and Brazil has produced what is the finest crystallized examples of Rose Quartz in the world. Valued at $1,800.
