A wonderful large miniature / small cabinet specimen of this classic Brazilian material. Classic bright pink color, hexagonal crystals of Rose Quartz sit on soft colored smoky Quartz forming a nice display piece. This is actually a bit more interesting than many of the Rose/Smoky Quartz specimens I've seen as it actually transitions from Smoky Quartz to Rose Quartz within the SAME crystals, and it's not a scepter or an overgrowth, but a group of Quartz that literally changed from one color to another during growth. This area is well known for its beautiful specimens of Rose Quartz, and a piece like this is certainly different from what we're used to seeing. Valued at $500.
