Sculptural and rich upright Rose Quartz small cabinet from a classic for the species locale - Galileia in Minas Gerais. Gorgeous pink, gemmy and lustrous, sharp crystals are densely intergrown from top to bottom and are attached to a glassy fragment of massive quartz. Most of the pink crystals are translucent, but a few are water-clear adding real pizzazz. The noted bruising below the top of the piece is certainly only a modest detraction. Rose Quartz is the most prized varietal of Quartz. Some of the finest crystallized Rose Quartz in the world is found in Brazil and this is a showy, rich and excellent example.
