The Rose Quartz specimens from the Pitorra Claim in Brazil are among the finest examples of crystallized Rose Quartz in the world. This piece is beautiful display specimen of this classic Brazilian material. Many, sharp, gemmy, classic pink color, hexagonal crystals of Rose Quartz sitting on a partial blocky crystal of cream colored Microcline forming a wonderful cabinet display piece. You can see a small amount of colorless Quartz beneath the Rose Quartz crystals. Some of the Rose Quartz crystals are also notably gemmy, essentially transparent in areas. Good quality all around, save the damage to the Microcline crystal. This piece is showy and eye-catching, and these specimens are desirable in the mineral world. Valued at $900.
