Rose Quartz is well-known material, but there are not many places where fine quality crystallized specimen are found. I think most people think of the crystallized Rose Quartz coming from Brazil, but this piece is from a new find (2021) from the Parun Pegmatite Field in Afghanistan, and features a style unlike anything we've seen from the area. This miniature specimen features sparkling, drusy, gemmy, beautiful strong pink color Rose Quartz crystals which are associated with milky white Quartz on the exterior edges. You almost never see Rose Quartz specimens from Afghanistan, and this new and very limited find presents a great opportunity to pick up something unusual and beautiful for your collection. Fine quality and color for a Rose Quartz, and it looks great in person.
