Item Description

A choice and aesthetic cluster of gemmy, lustrous, rich pink crystals from a very obscure Pakistan pegmatite field. The crown of serrated crystals across the top is striking. Rose quartz is a common mineral, but crystals such as these are rarely found, with perhaps only 3 or 4 locations worldwide. From a small 2002 find, with none since. Rare and excellent rose quartz, comparable to Brazilian pieces. Ex. Herb Obodda Collection # 1775. This cutie is illustrated in MINDAT in the Parun pegmatite field photo gallery.
