Rose Quartz (2011 find)

Gorgeous, water-clear, gem, bright pink quartz crystals form a showy and excellent specimen from a recent 2011 find at Taquaral. This vivid light pink hue is unlike nearly any other find from Minas Gerais and really glows! The gemminess of the crystals in this particular piece is EXCEPTIONAL! The underlying matrix is a tourmaline section (schorl with green elbaite layers), which is uncommon for the find. The noted periphery wear is certainly only a modest detraction. MUCH, MUCH BETTER IN PERSON!!!
