Item Description

Rosasite is relatively uncommon from the famous Mina Ojuela of Mexico and to find an excellent example is rare, indeed. Intensely blue-green, velvety, botryoids of rosasite, with entrancing lighter highlights, richly and thickly cover the the sturdy gossan matrix on this very showy specimen from a NEW find. A nested vug holds very glassy, flattened, colorless, calcite rhombs. Seldom available in this combination quality. The base has been sawed to enhance the display quality of this excellent piece. This piece has a real sculptural aspect to it.
