Item Description

Rosasite is a less common, but highly desirable zinc, copper carbonate from the famous Mina Ojuela. Pretty teal-blue, "melted-look", rosasite richly covers the front and back of the sculptural, sturdy, gossan matrix on this showy and excellent specimen. Both sides are richly sprinkled with sparkly, gem-like, colorless, calcite rhombs, which beautifully compliment the rosasite. A rich and colorful, two-sided combination example of the species from a recent at this noted locale (found December, 2009).
