Item Description
Rosasite from the famous Ojuela mine in Mexico has come out in several notable pockets over the last 50 years - several, not "a lot", please note. This is from a particularly important find in 2010-2011, premiered at the Tucson show by both Mike New and Marshall Sussman. It is one of the choicest, most pristine, most shapely, most saturated miniatures we have seen - and we saw a lot of them at the time! This was carefully selected by a dealer who brought it back for Gabriel, and it has remained in the collection for a decade. While there are many other rosasites this size from the pocket, this one is special, with sparkling calcites festooned around the top.
