Item Description
An amazingly scultpural and color-diverse rosasite with conichalcite specimen from the NEW find at Mina Ojuela (found December, 2009). Most of the rosasite specimens from this find are the light teal-blue botryoids, which cover only a very small portion of the striking, artful specimen. The majority of the botryoids in the striking, two-sided, lattice work of vugs are the far less common, velvety dark teal-blue. The gossan crust is very sturdy. A few broken botryoids reveal the lighter colored interiors, which actually adds pazzazz and charactdr to this colorful and dramatic piece. The back has been sawed to enhance the display quality. Excellent material from this historic old mine, that just keeps on producing surprisingly fine specimens of a different nature each find.
