Rosasite after Malachite after Azurite specimens are a Holy Grail pseudomorph from the extinct famed Tsumeb Mine. This very rich and impressive piece features all three species, very uncommon in itself. Most of the sculptural vug is richly lined with blue-green rosasite after malachite after tabular azurite crystals, to about 3.0 cm. The broken crystals reveal the malachite after the azurite crystals. Bright green malachite has mostly replaced navy-blue azurite crystals on the upper right. The two partial pseudos of malachite after bright azurite in the center and upper left really highlight the complex alteration chemistry of the renowned deposit. The noted bruising, mostly on the periphery has negligible impact to the overall high quality of this outstanding and rare pseudomorph. The matrix is hefty massive sulfide ore. A fine, rare pseudo!
