Rosasite, Hemimorphite, Calcite & Wulfenite on Smithsonite (Bruce Murphy Coll.)

Item Description

A colorful, showy and classic combination from the famous 79 Mine and the Bruce Murphy Collection. Beautiful teal-blue rosasite botryoids are attractively scattered along with a few tiny orange wulfenite crystals on the undulating matrix covered with densely intergrown rounded sprays of glassy hemimorphite crystals and very glassy colorless calcite disks. The underlying matrix is hefty banded smithsonite. This is very fine combination material from this locale. The base and two sides have been sawed to enhance the display quality. Collected by ace Arizona collectors George Godas and John Callahn in early 2006.
