Item Description

A lovely old time Calcite and Rosasite specimen from the famous Ojuela Mine. The piece is hosts beautiful velvety blue-green radiating aggregates of Rosasite which are covered by crystals of Calcite sitting in vugs of gossan matrix. Good color, coverage, and quality for the species. Ex Kay Robertson Collection (#2529). Kay is a prominent California collector, who specialized in European classics (see the article in the March-April, 2007 Mineralogical Record and the 50+ page article in the German Magazine "Mineralien Welt" November-December 2017).
